I’m by no means an expert, but after having raised 9 children, I have a few thoughts on what works and what doesn’t when trying to give the world some good humans. This flies in the face what both the general public and conservative Christianity would preach.

I grew up at a legalistic church, high school and went to a legalistic Bible college. I’ve experienced more abuse and criticism in the name of Jesus than amongst anyone else. Such a sad paradox.

The Bible. The book that Cerebral Christians attain power to that never claimed to have its own power, or at the very least, that cannot have the power to claim its own power. Enter the world of circular reasoning, where there is an endless loop of self-authentication that some Christians give this book that they’ve turned into a weapon.

How I narrowly escaped legalism and subsequently wandered through a wasteland of reflection to find deep and profound meaning in my evolving understanding of life, suffering and “God”.

The concept of “hell”, as a lake of fire set aside for eternal torment simply is not found anywhere in the Bible. Here is proof that it does not exist but instead of a gross misinterpretation from “Sheol”, “Hades”, “Tartarus” and “Gehenna”!
